IETEL OS
Standards
A Standard is a governed entity — owned by a Role, tied to specific lifecycle stages, and (in a future phase) enforceable by the system itself. Not full final copy yet; the structure is what matters in Phase 1.
Documentation Standard
Owner: Lead Technician
What counts as a complete as-built documentation package, at the governance level.
Project Naming Standard
Owner: Project Manager
Project ID format, e.g. IET-YYYY-NNNN.
File Naming Standard
Owner: Administrative Coordinator
Naming pattern for every uploaded file.
EOD Reporting Standard
Owner: Lead Technician
What an end-of-day field report must contain. Not every category below applies to every ProjectType — which fields are actually required should eventually be controlled by ProjectType applicability, not hardcoded into a single universal form.
Installation Documentation Standard
Owner: Lead Technician
Technical as-built records — device serial logs, wiring, configuration notes. Evidence today is captured at the project level; it would benefit from being associated with a specific Site → Location → System → Device/Door/Endpoint once that hierarchy exists as data, not just as a documentation convention.
Testing / Commissioning Standard
Owner: Lead Technician
Which Acceptance Criteria apply, what test evidence satisfies each one, and how a failed test is remediated or excepted before installation is considered complete.
Customer Communication Standard
Owner: Customer Success / Account Manager
Response time, channel, and tone for customer-facing communication — and which communications are operationally significant enough to record.
Estimate Standard
Owner: Estimator
Pricing structure and minimum margin.
Integrated Technology Assessment Standard
Owner: Estimator
Required findings, photos, and measurements across every applicable assessment module — physical, power, network, and cybersecurity.
Project Closeout Standard
Owner: Project Manager
What the closeout package must contain.
Contractor Onboarding Standard
Owner: People / Contractor Coordinator
Required compliance documents: W-9, Independent Contractor Agreement, COI, Rate Agreement. Employee requirements are handled separately — this standard governs contractors only.
Change Order Standard
Owner: Project Manager
Requirements for requesting, evaluating, approving, and documenting changes to approved project scope, from Contract through Closeout.
