Integrated Technology Assessment Standard
Define exactly what must be known about a site and its operational context before Solution Design and Estimate can start — written so future assessment forms can be generated directly from this Standard, module by module, instead of the same requirement being defined twice.
- Owner
- Estimator
- Governs
- Required findings, photos, and measurements across every applicable assessment module — physical, power, network, and cybersecurity.
- Applies to
Requirements
Each requirement must eventually be verifiable — not policy prose.
Site access and any access constraints must be recorded.
Measurements relevant to the scope must be recorded.
Photos covering all areas relevant to the scope must be captured.
Existing infrastructure or systems relevant to the new scope must be noted.
Power availability and dependencies must be assessed for every applicable module.
Network and connectivity dependencies must be assessed for every applicable module.
Cybersecurity ownership considerations must be identified wherever a connected system is involved.
System dependencies, material failure modes, and unresolved unknowns discovered during assessment must be documented, not left implicit.
Assessment findings must be sufficient to support Solution Design and the Design Validation gate — not merely collected, but usable.
- Future system rule
Solution Design is blocked until every applicable assessment module is complete, for the project types that require it.
Compliance measurement
Assessments with every applicable module complete ÷ assessments performed.
