Site Arrival / Start-of-Work Procedure
Make the first minutes on site the same every time — safety and access confirmed before tools come out — regardless of which crew or how routine the job feels.

Procedure
- 1Check in with the site contact on arrival.
- 2Confirm the day's task assignment matches the project plan.
- 3Walk the immediate work area for hazards before starting.
- 4Confirm safety equipment is on-site and in use.
- 5Brief the crew on the day's tasks.
Decision / troubleshooting points
- Is a hazard present that wasn't anticipated in planning? → Stop, mitigate or escalate — don't work around it silently.
Safety / caution
- Do not begin work if a hazard is identified until it is resolved or mitigated.
- Stop work and notify the Lead Technician immediately if an unsafe condition appears mid-day.
Required evidence
- Arrival confirmed
- Hazard check completed
- Completion criteria
- Crew is briefed, hazards checked, and work begins with the customer aware crew is on-site.
- Escalation
When: A hazard cannot be mitigated by the crew on-site.
Involve: Operations Manager

- Prompt the daily hazard check as part of clocking in.
- Timestamp arrival automatically.
