IETEL OS
Project Manager
Overview
Owns a single project end-to-end, day to day.
Outcomes owned
- Assigned projects delivered within approved scope, schedule, documentation, quality, and financial constraints.
- Every Change Order affecting the project is captured, approved, and reflected in plan and budget before the changed scope proceeds.
- A complete closeout package before the project is marked Closed.
Responsibilities
- Turns signed contract scope into an executable plan.
- Identifies and initiates procurement needs, and proposes crew/contractor assignment, for their own project — not unlimited purchasing authority; the Operations Manager approves or arbitrates when it touches shared inventory, competing projects, or scheduling priorities. Purchasing/financial approval thresholds are a separate authority concept, not yet defined.
- Drafts change orders and routes them for approval.
- Owns day-to-day project decisions within approved scope and budget.
- Assembles and verifies the closeout package.
Cadence
Daily
- Tracks active project status against plan.
Weekly
- Reviews schedule and open items with the Lead Technician.
As-needed
- Plans new projects.
- Requests permits, procurement, and crew.
- Drafts and routes change orders.
- Runs closeout.
Authority
Authority belongs to the seat (Position), not the function — shown here for whoever currently holds this role.
