Project Mobilization Checklist
Make the go/no-go decision for starting on-site work a checklist, not a judgment call made under time pressure the morning of.

Procedure
- 1Check permitting status — approved, or confirmed not required.
- 2Check equipment staged and received.
- 3Check the crew roster confirmed for the start date.
- 4Check that every assigned contractor has contractor.status = APPROVED.
- 5Confirm site access and safety readiness with the customer.
- 6Declare the project mobilized, or hold and escalate the specific gap.
Decision / troubleshooting points
- Is any item unchecked? → Hold; do not start partially ready.
Required evidence
- Completed checklist with a status per item
- Completion criteria
- Every checklist item is checked, or the start date is formally pushed with a logged reason.
- Escalation
When: Any prerequisite is still open on the planned start date.
Involve: Operations Manager
Future system assistance
- Auto-populate checklist status from Procurement, Assignment, and Permitting records.
- Block declaring mobilized until all items are checked.
